As May approached it was time to say goodbye to Colin but not before he discovered fame! Colin was invited to BBC Radio Devon for a live interview on Moor Otters with Kerry White, he was the perfect guest and let his human speak on his behalf. I think Colin has developed a soft spot for Kerry White, I think the feeling might have been mutual!
The next day followed with the Moor Otters launch event at Bovey Castle where he met his 99 otter friends along with his sponsors for the summer Trewin Architects who kindly brought Colin a gift which would melt any otters heart, a tin of Sardines!
Although Colin is now safely tucked up in his new summer location for public viewing he decided that he would take it upon himself to enjoy his last few hours of freedom by running riot at Bovey Castle. As you can see Colin wined and dined in the hotel restaurant, sampled every hat in the gift shop, treated himself to a luxury spa and enjoyed a tour of the grounds in the golf cart, lucky Colin!
The auction for the Moor Otters has now opened and I'm pleased to announce that Colin has currently raised £846 towards Dartmoor National Park conservation projects.
