Colin finds his forever home

Updated: Aug 30, 2019

October 6th was an exciting day for Colin the Rescue Otter! Otter bidding was to take place and Colin was due to find out where is forever home would be. After a tense two hours bidding war I am pleased to tell you that Colin managed to raise £1,500 for Dartmoor National Park and has moved to his new forever home where he will start his new job as a member of the Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team Ashburton's fundraising mascot! Yes Colin was purchased by the team members with their own pocket money.

Colin informs me that the fish supplied has been of good quality and he is looking forward to his new role within the team. I hope they are ready for an ever hungry Otter!

After creating Colin and having a comission to complete this year I decided not to take part in this years SHAF art trail. However when I heard that Loddiswell were having an Art and Craft event I immediatly put my hand up. Not only did I want to support my village's event but by not taking part in the arts trail I was missing the interaction of people with my artwork. The Art and Craft event will be taking place Nov 4th - 5th at Loddiswell Village hall 9.30am to 4.30pm where I will be both days selling my prints and some of my original pieces. Entry to this event is free so please come along even if it's to say hello and enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake.
